An arc of water spanning the Chicago River. Part of the Nicholas J Melias Centennial Fountain, this enormous jet of water shoots across the river every hour on the hour for 10 minutes.

The purple alliums are great favourites in our garden too.
Sometimes they grow a bit too well and seem to spring up all over!
