An arc of water spanning the Chicago River. Part of the Nicholas J Melias Centennial Fountain, this enormous jet of water shoots across the river every hour on the hour for 10 minutes.
The Art Institute of Chicago. A slightly different view from the usual ‘front steps with two lions’ angle.

So many wonderful things to do in Chicago. I must visit this lovely city soon.

The purple alliums are great favourites in our garden too.
Sometimes they grow a bit too well and seem to spring up all over!
