I’ve only one thing to say to that. Ice! And lots of it!
I’m not talking about the kind that you put in the bottom of a glass or the sparkly kind that you wear around your neck. I mean the kind that has been hanging from the gutters, making roads treacherous and turning sidewalks into skating rinks for the past few months.
While I’ll be the first to admit that it can look very picturesque, for most of the time it’s just a colossal pain in the you-know-what, sometimes literally if you happen to slip and fall on it.

I’m headed to Taiwan tonight for 3 months. Should be warmer there and then too warm in May.

Now in Taiwan. The trip was uneventful. Colder than expected here and gray outside. Tomorrow I’m be out more and capturing things.
