Railway tracks running through Glenwood Springs, Colorado. I’m not sure which way they were going or from where they came but on a rainy day, when the chance for further exploration was limited, it was one of the few sights that seemed picture-worthy.

I love trains. I’ve gone cross-country several times by rail. I’ve also been known to lie on tracks to get a photo. Not too smart. But I’m past that phase- and thankfully still alive.
I’m so glad you survived your daring track experiences, Emilio! I always preferred riding on trains to traveling by bus when I was a kid. Now I’d rather take the train than drive downtown and pay all those outrageous parking fees.
There is something about the regular geometry of railway tracks in a countryside view that is irresistible.
