This week, Cheri Lucas Rowlands invites us to cross the bridge when we come to it, for the Weekly Photo Challenge on The Daily Post. There are quite a number of bridge pictures in my photo files taken from many different angles.
Crossing the bridge at Hamburger University in Oak Brook, Illinois.
The only way into the Elizabeth Hubert Malott Japanese Garden at the Chicago Botanic Garden is over the bridge.
A bridge in Sturgeon Bay, Door County, Wisconsin.
Four views of the mighty Mackinac Bridge in Michigan; from both sides, crossing and underneath.
The bridge into Canada at Port Huron.

Amazing assortment of bridges, Sue! 🙂 👍
Thank you, Indira! I was surprised at how many I had in the files. I’ll have to keep some for another challenge.
Fantastic that you found so many different bridges! From all, for me, picture six is most amazing.
Thank you! And thanks for stopping by.
The first two photos of bridges look like a place that offers relaxation.

Yes, Anna, especially the one at the Japanese Garden. Always nice to visit there early in the morning when there are few people about.
I really like the Sturgeon Bay bridge with the red brick “accents”. Great shots all around!
Thanks, Emilio

The lowest of the four Mackninac Bridge pictures is the winner for me.
Thank you, Stephen! Luckily I had some time to kill while waiting to get a few sunset shots and realized that underneath the bridge was as interesting as the rest of it. Thank you for stopping by.

Great collection.
Thank you!
Hamburger University! I spent over two decades riding my bike and walking through the McDonald’s campus (just moved away a few months ago). Thanks for the memory!
You’re welcome! I really enjoyed my visits to the campus, doing the American Lung Association Walks with my daughter and her husband.
I do love a bridge 🙂 🙂
Beautiful bridges and I love the clarity of the photos. Underneath Mackinac Bridge in Michigan is awesome. The perspective, the green in the water mirrored in the steel structure of the bridge, complimented by the orange/ochre in the pillars supporting the bridge. Fabulous!
Thank you so much! Mackinac was one of those lucky chances where I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
What a fantastic selection of bridge photos!
Thank you, Jeanette!
