This week, Cee has chosen Black & White as the colors for her Fun Foto Challenge. These days it’s relatively easy to convert images to black & white provided you have the right picture. Finding pictures of things that are primarily black & white without doing any kind of manipulation was rather more difficult but here are some random shots that seemed to fit the bill. I took several pictures of the young man playing the xylophone but although this one wasn’t necessarily the best, I chose it because I noticed that the woman crossing the street behind him was also wearing a black & white shirt.

These are all striking photo for this week I am attracted to the checkered shirt photo. 😀
Thanks, Cee! The music was great too!
Such interesting photos.. and particularly the b&w shirts shot!
Thanks, Liz! Sometimes it takes a while to realize exactly what you’ve captured in a picture. It wasn’t until I was looking for shots for this challenge that I spotted the extra b/w shirt.
Spot on.
Thanks, Tom! It was much harder to find pictures of b/w things than I imagined. I can see that from now on, when I go out with the camera, I’m going to be looking for all kinds of color combinations (and I don’t mean drawers).
Do you live in P.A. because I see the Turkey Hill cow every now and then in Lancaster.
Evidently this cow gets about, Mike. This one was parked outside a grocery store in Des Plaines, Illinois.
I’m thrilled to see they are color black and whites!! So striking and full of light – and FUN!!
Thank you, Pierr! This was quite a challenge!
That shot with the man and woman that both just happen to be wearing black and white was an eye catcher for me.
I love that – how cosmic that she just walked by as you clicked the shutter.
I got really lucky with that one. I didn’t even notice it when I took the picture.
Love it when that happens.
Excellent take for the challenge. Bravo!
Thank you! Your comment was much appreciated.
I like this grouping! Well done.
Thank you, Teri!
