My Photographs
what a fun festival 🙂
Now I know what to expect, I’d love to visit another one.
I am fascinated by their colours and shapes, Sue!
I had no idea what to expect. It was an amazing sight! And good to see them during the day and then at night when they were all lit.
Great shots of shapes and lines, Sue. I’m a little far away to go to lantern festival! 🙂
Thanks, Miriam! These pictures were taken a few years ago, but it seems like the lantern festivals pop up in different places at various times of the year. They had one at a zoo near us recently but unfortunately I had other plans so couldn’t go.
The photos look great, Sue. I’ll check out the nearest lantern festival when it’s close to Chinese New Year.
Wow! How beautiful! Especially with the Botanic Gardens as surroundings – I visited the Missouri Botanic Gardens a couple of years ago and really loved it.
It is a beautiful place, isn’t it. That was our first time visiting St Louis and we had a great time. The lantern festival was a bonus too.
I really enjoyed this colourful show.
Thanks, Tom! It was a splendid sight.
Such vibrancy
During the day, the lanterns looked very colorful, but at night they took on a whole new appearance. Quite a sight!
