This week, Miriam, our guest host over at The Showers of Blessings, is looking for Reflections for the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge. On a recent trip to Volo Auto Museum, I was so impressed by how bright and shiny all the cars are and, looking at the resulting pictures, I can see how I inadvertently captured reflections, not so much of images but the lights of the various showrooms that brought out the meticulous care and attention to detail that is lavished on these beautiful machines.
Great post 😁
Thank you!
These are glorious Sue -that last image is wonderful. Weren’t those cars something?!
Thanks, Tina! Although I’m not a car enthusiast, I love going to this museum. The opportunities for photography are amazing.
Wow, Sue. Great images for the challenge.
Thanks, Patti. It was nice to be able to use some new pictures for a change. We have been to so few places lately and with more and more things closing down now, it looks like there will be even more time to spend at home. At least if the weather dries out, I can start working on the garden.
Hi, Sue. I know what you mean about spending more time at home. Your garden will be happier for it. I also heard a comment that our pets are happier, too!!
Just wow…I wonder how many hours to get that shine…
They do a fantastic job there. Everything is spotless and so well-kept.
Wow, that’s a magnificent shine!
They really are beautiful. They make all the other cars outside on the road look very dreary.
What a cool idea for your post! I would have only thought of watery reflections, but yours are fantastic!!!
Thank you! My first thought was to look to either the water or windows for this challenge but then, after I took a closer look at the results from my latest outing, I figured it would be a good opportunity to use some of these.
Very enjoyable, Cars always look smarter if they aren’t actually being used and getting dirty.
Thanks, Tom. Although many of the cars at Volo are for sale, most of them rarely see the light of day.
Wonderful choices for the challenge, Sue. Those cars are gorgeous and shiny of course. The reflections, especially the second and the third are amazing. We used to go to car museums in our early travels. Each and single one of the cars are unique!
Thank you so much, Miriam. And thank you for hosting this challenge.
You’re welcome, Sue. My pleasure of doing it.
Fabulous, luscious shine on those cars… Wow!
I think that’s what keeps bringing me back, all those lovely shiny bits.
Love those reflections off the vehicles!
Thanks, Indira. I wasn’t sure that I had anything new for this challenge until I took a closer look at these images.
Excellent. Nothing reflects likes cars in a car museum or auto show. Well done.
Thank you, John! It certainly helped that the place is so well-lit.
Cool shots.
Thank you!
Wow! Great photos of these classic beauties!
Thanks, Amy I’m glad we got to visit there before everything closed down.
Great subject matter especially for this challenge. Love your creative thinking in choosing something other than a body of water. And what fun to see these cars up close!!
Thank you!
