As I had promised, I returned to Long Grove this week to make further purchases at Paddy’s On The Square and, while I was there, checked out a few places that seemed like pleasant spots to Pull Up A Seat and take a break.

Sharing my journey in and out of the garden
I’m sure I could find something tasty in Ma & Pa’s Candy! My kind of place!
I daren’t even go in there. I have no restraint!
And you spotted enough of seats to pull up, Sue! 🙂
Yes, especially now that people are being encouraged to sit outside rather than hang about indoors.
What great ones. From the vintage red (looks like a super fun shop) to the heart cut out and the great sculptures. I really enjoyed these.
Thank you! Because of the expectation that people will want to spend more time outside, I found quite a few seats on my excursion around Long Grove. More to follow in a week or two.
Love the granddaughter and grandpa sitting sculpture.
They’re amazing, aren’t they! So life-like.
Did you sit on any of them?
Not this time. I usually like to keep moving.
That last photo of the sculptures seated on the bench is delightful.
Thanks, Anne! I’m not sure who the artists is, but they do amazing work.
