This week, Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge calls for Anything Painted. My goodness! Where to begin! There are so many ‘painted‘ subjects in the old photo files but since I’m rather late in answering this challenge I picked a few that really stood out, just at a quick glance.
A painted sculpture of a bison on Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake, Utah.
A mural painted on a wall in the Route 66 section of Joliet History Museum.
A purple painted pony on display at the Northshore Sculpture Park in Skokie.
Paintwork in need of some TLC on an old railroad wagon at the National Railway Museum in Green Bay.

I loved the mural
Thanks, Tom! I wish I’d looked for the name of the artist. There were a couple of really outstanding murals at the museum. I’ll have to do some research.
Great post. You’ve got to say it fast to get the full effect: purplepaintedpony!
Thanks, Emilio! I was almost as pleased with the purplepaintedpony as I was with the picture.
This is a wonderful gallery of things that have been painted. Thanks for playing.
Thank you, Cee.
